SEATTLE, WA / ACCESSWIRE / February 10, 2016 / Dr. Robi Ludwig, a New York resident, is best known for her work as a psychotherapist, author, reporter and TV personality. She has been appearing in broadcast media since 1997 because her insights and advice on a wide range of topics are highly are highly sought after by different networks. It is rare that she gives a personal interview because her work is so focused on the well-being of others. In this latest interview, Dr. Ludwig opens up about herself and her latest projects.

Dr. Robi Ludwig knew from a very young age that she wanted to pursue a career in the field of therapy. She knew that her future was going to be helping people with their psychological issues. She said, "I was walking home from elementary school my chosen profession to become a therapist became fully crystallized. I always loved delving into the intricacies of interpersonal dynamics, and analyzing people and situations." When she reached her teenage years, she knew that she wanted to have a public platform in order to help others. Her uncle was a prominent local New York City weatherman and he was the one who convinced her to combine her passion for helping others with the public platform of television. Her first true "aha" inspiration moment came from the first time she watched Dr. Joyce Brothers who had a talk show that combined psychology and television. She then went on to receive her doctorate in psychology (Psy.D) from California Southern University, her post-masters certificate in advanced clinical work from Hunter College, her masters degree in social work from University of Pennsylvania and her bachelor's degree in mass communications from Cedar Crest College.

Her career has taken off and she been fortunate to have had many opportunities in both television and print. However, she says that her most powerful memory and most memorable experience came from her first TV reporting job at WETM, channel 18 in Elmira, New York. Originally, the job was for a full time morning anchor, which was a job that she was not interested in but she had a plan. She went to the interview, which was a 6 hour bus ride from New York, and went into it with confidence in her idea that she was going to pitch to the news director. At that time, Dr. Robi Ludwig met with David Schifter who was the news director at the station and she was very upfront with him and how the full-time morning anchor person position that she came to interview for was not for her but instead pitched an alternate position. She told David Schifter that she would make an amazing addition to the team as the station's psychology reporter. She was hired on the spot and she was on air that evening giving insight and analyzing the Oklahoma City bomber, Timothy McVeigh. Both Dr. Robi Ludwig and David Schifter remain friends to this day and she credits him with her start to an impressive and well-rounded career in both television and psychology.

Dr. Robi Ludwig is fortunate to have known from an earlier age that she was destined to be an on air television personality with a focus on helping others with their psychological issues. For her work and personal life, she finds her inspiration everywhere. She says, "From life. I'm inspired by my field, my desire to learn and know more, by the patients I work with, and by my friends and family. I love what I do and feel passionate about my work. I suppose it's this passion which fuels my inspiration." She is constantly striving to be a better person and this helps to fuel her passion for her work as a psychologist.

She also shows no signs of slowing down. She currently has a book in the works that will be published by Harper One. The Book, titled "Your Best Age is Now: Embrace an Ageless Mindset, Reenergize Your Dreams, and Live a Soul-Satisfying Life." The book comes out in April 2016 and will delve into living the best possible life during your mid-life years. She has spent many years researching the concept of the mid-life crisis and combined that research with the latest research in the field to write a book to dispel some of the troubling myths that surround midlife. Her other project utilizes her more creative side. Her jewelry line Vise Mari will be sold on Star Shop, a new shopping app that makes shopping on your phone fun and easy.
