The Innovative New Website MooMa.sh is Able to Quickly Search Through Millions of Audio Tracks in Order to Identify Songs Within a Youtube video; The Website Officially Launched in March 2015 and is Currently Live

NORDERSTEDT, GERMANY / ACCESSWIRE / March 23, 2015 / Tracking down a song that is contained in a Youtube video can be a bit of an adventure. If the song is not clearly stated in the video description, or user comments, listeners are often left trying to decipher lyrics and replaying the video over and over again.

In order to provide a simple solution to this growing problem, two German developers have created MooMa.sh, an innovative new website designed to identify songs within Youtube videos.

MooMa.sh is simple to use and completely free. If an individual comes across a song or music within a Youtube video, they simply have to copy the URL link of the video, paste it into the search bar on MooMa.sh, and click the "Moo" button.

MooMa.sh will then begin its identification process which involves analyzing, fingerprinting, and matching the audio against a database of over seven million audio tracks. After the audio has been identified, MooMa.sh will create a timeline listing all songs it identified within the video.

Depending on the length of the Youtube video and how many other people are analyzing videos, the identification process can take anywhere from a couple of seconds to a few minutes.

Besides music, MooMa.sh also identifies static wallpapers within videos and provides the user with higher resolution versions.

"With MooMa.sh, we hope to completely solve one of the most common problems people encounter on Youtube; coming across a great song but being unable to find the artist, name, or any information about it," says Tom Kirchner, the lead developer at MooMa.sh. "Finding the song you've been looking for is now only a click away. We are eliminating the hassle of trying to search for lyrics and asking people in the comments, which are both time consuming and unreliable."

About MooMa.sh:

Tom Kirchner and Sebastian Fink are the team behind MooMa.sh, operated by the Moomash GmbH. They are proud to announce that the beta version of their website is currently live. Currently, the MooMa.sh database is growing at a rate of approximately 90.000 songs per day. The website also provides a free API, which allows other developers the chance to create and develop music identification apps themselves.
