TORONTO, ON / ACCESSWIRE / December 7, 2016 / Enerdynamic Hybrid Technologies Corp. (TSX-V: EHT) ("EHT" or the "Company"), is pleased to announce that it has completed its first microgrid off grid system to Gariba Lodge in Ghana West Africa. This smartgrid is a fully off grid energy solution utilizing solar panels and battery storage deploying Outback Technology and EHT's own battery expertise combined. The customer, Gariba Lodge is one of the largest local hotel complex's in the northern Ghana, using renewable energy to power a Policy Training Institute and a Retreat for development practitioners, in addition to the hotel. With the increase in local electrical rates and frequent power outages through the main grid, Gariba Lodge now expects to see a payback within 5-years on this green energy investment. EHT's smartgrid solution will allow the three separate buildings, all connected in the EHT off grid microgrid solution, to generate and share power between themselves and on demand.

The three combined buildings will generate over 500kWh daily and the system is believed to be the first of its kind in Ghana to communicate in such a unique way. The smart microgrid energy system is designed to transfer the power produced to any of the three facilities connected to the smartgrid. This will allow all buildings in this grid to be both a generator and a consumer of power. During the construction of the system over the last 4 weeks, people from many levels of Ghana's Government, private sector and Local Businesses have come to view the system. People have been amazed how this system works, and what prospects this will bring for Ghana's policy of moving rapidly towards renewable energy.

John Gamble CEO said, "I have spent a number of days over the last weeks at Gariba Lodge meeting with both the private sector and the Ghana governments technical people on how this system works. All people have responded with the same thoughts, this is the best most professional system we have ever seen built in Ghana. We are looking forward to EHT working with us to build many more of these systems over the years to come."

Mrs. Gariba the owner of Gariba Lodge said, "We thank EHT for all their professional work in planning and designing this system. This is truly a momentous occasion not only for us at Gariba Lodge but also for Ghana-Canada relations. I will like many more Ghanaian businesses to turn to Canada for a truly collaborative partnership in building high-quality, state-of-the-art solar system for now, and for posterity."

This system lends itself to entire villages and communities producing their own electricity and sharing the power produced locally among various buildings. This local power production reduces line losses and costly power transmission infrastructure that takes extended periods of time to plan and build.

EHT sees the West African region as an area of focus for its modular building system and microgrid power technologies. This region has a population in excess of 400 million people with both low cost housing and power supply in high demand.
