EQ Inc. Announces Closing of Second Tranche of Non-Brokered Private Placement

TORONTO, ON / ACCESSWIRE / January 9, 2019 / EQ Inc. (TSXV: EQ) (the "Corporation" or "EQ Works"), a North American leader in location behaviour data and intelligence, is pleased to announce that it has completed the second tranche of the non-brokered private placement (the "Private Placement"), previously announced on December 31, 2018. The second tranche of the Private Placement consisted of 276,924 common shares in the capital of the Corporation (the "Shares") at a price of $0.65 per Share for aggregate gross proceeds of $180,001.

EQ Works intends to use the proceeds from the Private Placement for general working capital purposes and to settle certain debts expired on December 31, 2018.

Pursuant to applicable securities laws, the Shares are subject to a hold period for four months and one day, expiring May 10, 2019. The Private Placement remains subject to the final acceptance of the TSX Venture Exchange (the "TSX-V"). In aggregate, 1,354,164 Shares were issued pursuant to the Private Placement for aggregate gross proceeds of $880,207.
