VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / November 16, 2020 / Experion Holdings Ltd. (the "Corporation" or "Experion") (TSXV:EXP)(OTCQB:EXPFF)(FRANKFURT:MB31) is pleased to announce it has now produced and shipped its first cannabis edible under its nationally recognized Citizen Stash brand.
Designed for the legal adult recreational market Experion's initial shipment of its edible gummies product line will be directed first to Saskatchewan, with order fulfillment to BC, Alberta and Ontario following shortly thereafter, as they complete the final stages of their product registration process. This initial edible product offering is a convenient two per pack, 5 mg THC vegan cannabis gummy to be marketed under the Citizen Stash brand.
The launch of the Citizen Stash branded cannabis edible signals the company's entrance into the estimated C$2.7 billion cannabis 2.0 market, with "gummies" being identified as the preferred edible format according to Deloitte's report , "Nurturing New Growth".
The launch of Citizen Stash's new edible is the next step of the company's strategy to pursue consumer driven growth opportunities, which will ultimately support our revenue expansion as we continue to develop multiple product lines. The company's marketing strategy is to leverage the strength of its highly regarded Citizen Stash brand and its national distribution capabilities that support the placement of its products on retail shelves across Canada. The strategy is further strengthened with the on-boarding of Velvet Management, the leading full-service cannabis marketing agency in all ten provinces. With the addition of a well positioned cannabis edible to the company's product portfolio, Velvet will have an increased positive impact on the sales of all Citizen Stash products nationally.
Mr. Jarrett Malnarich, Chief Executive Officer, commented "The cannabis derivative, added value market is one of the fastest growing segments in Canada. Consequently, we felt the timing was perfect to launch our new line of edibles. We are also encouraged to see increasing demand across Canada for our Citizen Stash brand and pay close attention to the ever-evolving tastes of our customers. Consumers across the country are looking for quality alternatives to smoking cannabis and we see a tremendous opportunity to expand our offerings in the "edibles" product vertical going forward. We are optimistic the addition of our Citizen Stash edible will have substantial appeal for consumers nationally and a corresponding substantial impact on our revenues going forward."
