BAYSIDE, NY / ACCESSWIRE / June 25, 2021 / United States Navy veteran Skylar Bonné is pleased to announce that he has been featured in an exclusive online interview. Having previously served as a Naval Aircrewman Operator for the U.S. Navy, he is now a dedicated employee of AmeriVet Securities - a veteran-owned and operated broker-dealer. As a business committed to providing equal opportunities, Bonné takes great pride in helping veterans navigate the financial landscape.
Throughout the interview, Bonné details what inspires him on a daily basis. As a veteran, helping others is a natural part of what he does:
'A lot of what I do out of work is helping vets. It's my life's mission. I work with a few non-profits and sit on the board of one. When I left the military and came back to civilian life it was difficult to adjust. I want to be a helping hand for vets who are transitioning.'
Bonné attributes most of his success to his hard work and perseverance, claiming that he has always had a willingness to get the job done. When asked to provide some advice for those looking to pursue a career in finance, he suggests finding a mentor. He claims that having someone who can provide educated advice is beneficial to long-term success. He also reminds individuals to stay humble and to never stop learning.
'Read as much as you can. Read things like The Wall Street Journal or watch CNBC. Keep up with what's going on in the industry. Find as many mentors as you can. Go to those mentors with questions and stay humble. Odds are the person you're going to for advice knows a lot more than you do, and try to talk to as many people as possible.'
