Nancy Etz has officially opened the application window for her scholarship program. Eligible students must be current or incoming college students in the U.S. The winner of the scholarship, which will be announced after the application closing date of February 1, 2022, will be given a $1,000 college grant.
LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / September 3, 2021 / The Nancy Etz Academic Scholarship will be opening its doors once again for new applicants. After a successful scholarship program last year, a student from Morgan State University was awarded $1,000 in financial assistance for college-related expenses. Scholarship application information and the official essay prompt details are discussed in the article below.
Education is the foundation of society's development. Though free K-12 public education is available in the U.S., many students desire to have a higher education in hopes of having a financially stable future. Unfortunately, many students are faced with the burden of being unable to pay for their college tuition. With fees soaring to record-high prices, some students must opt-out of college, and some even do not consider higher education at all.
In addition to the financial concerns many college students face, upon graduation, many students are left with a mountain of student debt. Oftentimes, a student's debt takes multiple years to pay off, making the road to financial stability and wealth very lengthy.
TV literary agent Nancy Etz recognizes the need for students to gain financial support as they pursue college. Not all are privileged to enter higher education easily, and it is her desire to help the younger generation fulfill their dreams. "Scholarships are the backbone that makes it easy for many students to pay for college," as she mentioned in an article at the University Herald.
College is not just for individuals trying to find a higher-paying job--it is also a place for individuals to hone in and grow their industry-specific skills and knowledge. When asked about the importance of continuing education for creatives, Etz shared in TechBullion that she "believes that continuing education for artistic development is crucial for the advancement of creative skills."
Students interested in applying for the Nancy Etz Academic Scholarship can now start submitting their applications. To be eligible for the scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:
- A high school senior recently accepted to a college or university in the U.S.
- A current undergraduate or graduate student continuing their education in a college or university in the U.S.
Students must submit their contact details, school information, and a 500-word essay with the following prompt: "Describe an area in your life where you demonstrated leadership and overcame obstacles in either your school, society, or family life." All entries must be submitted through the official scholarship website on or before February 1, 2022.
By providing annual scholarship grants for students, Etz hopes to provide a stepping stone for students pursuing their dreams and prosperity through higher education.
