Stream Investments: The Power of Positivity and Service Combined with Real Estate

Monday, 06 December 2021 03:00 PM

LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / December 6, 2021 / As you drive to work or go out on errands, it probably won't be long before you notice an abandoned building or a home in disrepair. What can be done with a property that has seen better days? Can it be fixed up without investing an arm and a leg in it, or should you take a wrecking ball to it? Perhaps neither, as a third option, as anyone who has cable knows, is to flip the home, which has become a popular source of income for those who are handy with a hammer and screwdriver and have a lot of time. Stream Investments is one such company that flips and then rents single-family and multi-family homes but is taking that one step further by adding a dose of positivity and service for their tenants.

The mission of Stream Investments is to invest in old properties, renovate them, and then rent them to single parents or those who are financially challenged, ultimately giving them a solid, safe home to live in. Properties are chosen based on three criteria: location, potential, and renovation costs. The team at Stream Investments explains that they search for properties that are reasonably close to schools, stores, and public transportation. They then narrow the list by assessing the home's potential. The team says that they evaluate the property and envision what it can become through renovations, including how many people can reasonably be expected to live there. Lastly, they do a thorough analysis of what must be done to bring the property up to code and to make it a pleasant home for any family.

The team at Stream Investments believes in positivity and prioritizes bringing it to their tenants, many of whom may be single families, be slow to pay rent, or struggle with yardwork. Employees focus on providing extensions when a tenant needs additional time to pay rent, enlists the help of team members to assist with mowing and weeding, and helps single mothers to find babysitters for nights off.

The goals, according to the company, are to invest in the community and to help those who may feel overlooked or struggle with financial issues. By providing tenants with what Stream Investments believes are good homes to live in, the company aims to help more financially challenged people to find stability and to bring positivity into the lives of those who may be stressed or feel overwhelmed.

Stream Investments also offers its tenants periodic workshops that center on leadership, positivity, and empowerment. Tenants may join discussion groups whose topics include taking back your life, finding your true passion, and letting go of the past. Other discussions involve the importance of investing in yourself and in your future.

Stream Investments was started by Ryan and Elizabeth Stream after he returned home from Afghanistan upon finishing his second deployment and began to struggle mentally. Ryan almost lost his family and realized that he had to change his life, so he focused on changing his mindset. After seeing how his own life improved and noticing how many families in his city were unable to afford good housing, he decided to form Stream Investments and use his experiences as a force for change.

Today, Stream Investments still invests in and renovates older homes and rents them to lower-income tenants. As they do, they keep one thing in mind: positivity, which they continue to believe can improve the lives of every person they meet.
