STOCKTON, CA / ACCESSWIRE / December 9, 2021 / Transatlantic Underwriters (TAU), a wholesale insurance broker specializing in the placement of Commercial Auto Liability, Auto Physical Damage and Motor Truck Cargo coverage, is pleased to announce that Angela Harrison will be joining the team as Senior Fleet Underwriter.
Harrison specializes in fleet transportation risks, including trucking, business, and public auto. In her new position, she will be focused on growing the fleet book with current markets, diversifying business into the Midwest, and nurturing a fleet-focused team.
Prior to joining TAU, Harrison worked for Nationwide E&S/Specialty, initially overseeing the central U.S. region and eventually taking on additional states, as well as managing a large limo program. She began her insurance career in 2005 and underwrote and managed an expansive fleet book, in addition to a large drive-away book of business. In 2018, she worked to develop a major fleet product, leading the mid-fleet team to write over $90M in direct written premium.

For the last 16 years, Harrison has lived in Arizona with her husband and three children. She is originally from Buffalo, New York. Transatlantic Underwriters welcomes her to the team and looks forward to continued success in the Transportation market.
