NEW YORK, NY / ACCESSWIRE / December 10, 2021 / The live event industry has historically been a a growing business over the past two decades. Prior to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020, every major indicator showed that touring was on pace to set a record in terms of fiscal activity. Garry Sitarski & Jonathan Cater's "CCXLII" live promotions came to a grinding halt when the pandemic hit. Not one event has been held by CCXLII since COVID-19 took its grasp on the world. Outlook might be changing though. During an end of year briefing with partners, Sitarski & Cater announced that they intend to bring back live promotions by fall of 2022. Sitarski disclosed an unnamed Halloween influencer event was currently in the planning stages with venue focuses in New York state, stating that "it is the first of it's kind". It is known Sitarski & Cater previously had involvement with performances at Playlist live & Tomorroworld during the 2013-2019 eras. Sitarski & Cater also invited UK Superstar KSI to the Mayweather Boxing gym to film a video. If was the first of its nature to see a youtuber integrate with the live professional sports world in America, & the video that now sits over 10 million views. The youtube boxing world crossover has exploded since then & is now mainstream.
The concert industry's fight against the pandemic hasn't been all negative. There have been a few positive areas of forced innovation that will become a larger piece to how concerts are built, promoted, and monetized. Live streaming is a huge integration that has come into play. Although the concert business has seen a dramatic shift in the way that concerts will operate, there is no doubt that live shows will be back eventually. CCXLII plans on that to occur in 2022. The United States has a massive music culture and attending live shows is a passionate part of that.
