Vee bridges the gap between people and teams who want to give back and nonprofits seeking qualified volunteers. Hosting a wide range of volunteering opportunities, such as food aid, animal welfare, youth mentoring and environmental initiatives, Vee enables HR teams to easily find, coordinate and share charity events, and in effect to build a community for giving back inside the company.

Vee currently has over 500 teams and organizations on its platform, among them eBay, Booking.com, Salesforce and Columbia University. The platform is active in ten different countries and logs in hundreds of new activities per week.

Vee gives everyone an innovative way to contribute and advance social and environmental change. By automating up to 80% of the manual work associated with discovery, tracking and administration- users of Vee spend less time coordinating and more time carrying out impactful work.

"We built Vee to give everybody around the world a better way to make a social impact," said May Piamenta, the 22-year-old Co-Founder and CEO of Vee. "I am excited to see how Vee becomes far more than a product but a global movement of people who want to pay it forward. Teams and organizations of all shapes, sizes and industries are invited to join our revolution. This funding round takes Vee to an entirely new level, and the best thing is that we're just getting started. It's only a matter of time until Vee will be the benchmark of social good for every company, university, city, and every person, everywhere."

Piamenta, the mastermind behind Vee, has been involved in charity and volunteering since her teenage years in Dimona, a small town in southern Israel. During those years she led a global non-profit project with millions of volunteers across 32 countries where she realized that traditional management tools were heavy, unscalable and difficult to use to achieve her goals in community management.

Unlike other existing platforms, Vee places a strong emphasis on the experience of the employees and teams themselves, allowing impact-oriented people to find their next mission with ease, helping anyone set up and join a social project within minutes.

Yuval Baharav, General Partner of State of Mind Ventures says, "I am very excited to have SOMV join the Vee family. For me this investment is very special as it combines the opportunity to work with a young, bright, super-talented and ambitious team of founders with the vision of building a company that will not only be a commercial success but also becomes a force for good in the world."

The easy-to-use platform allows teams to bond over their achievements, and team members to share their experiences with each other, promoting a sense of satisfaction and loyalty around volunteering.
