CARMEL, CA / ACCESSWIRE / April 19, 2022 / Small-Cap Institute, Inc. (SCI) announced today that it has appointed Sharon Gabrielson to chair its editorial advisory board. Ms. Gabrielson's term will begin immediately, and she will succeed Adam J. Epstein, who will remain on the editorial board.
"Sharon has been an invaluable resource since joining our editorial advisory board in 2020," said SCI founder David Scher. "As we shift our focus to include producing custom content for leadership, governance, and corporate partners, Sharon's previous experience at the Mayo Clinic will be additive."
"Overseeing small-cap companies can be very different than leading mid- or large-caps, and a one size fits all approach simply doesn't work," stated Ms. Gabrielson. "SCI is a leading resource for small-cap executive and director education. I look forward to helping the company continue its growth as it works with partner organizations in creating bespoke content for their members."
Mr. Scher continued, "I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Adam on behalf of everyone at Small-Cap Institute for serving as our inaugural advisory board chair. Adam is a renowned, tireless global advocate for small-caps, and we're thrilled he's agreed to continue in his advisory role."
