(Nasdaq:DWAC) ("Digital World" or the "Company") today provided important information regarding the upcoming special meeting of stockholders (the "Special Meeting") to amend the Company's amended and restated certificate of incorporation (the "Extension Amendment") to extend the period of time for completing a business combination (the "Extension") up to four times, each by an additional three months, for an aggregate of 12 additional months (or until September 8, 2023) or such earlier date as determined by the Company's Board of Directors (the "Board"):
The Company expects internet and telephone voting will be available for all stockholders by Tuesday, August 30, 2022, and the Company encourages these forms of voting for efficiency and simplicity purposes.
