The subjects addressed by Kashane's web-based journal primarily relate to motorsports in general and auto racing and snowmobiling in particular, all subjects with which he has ample professional knowledge.
In his most recent blog entry, titled Kashane Walters Discusses the Best Gear and Accessories for Snowmobiling, Kashane gives a detailed rundown of all the equipment necessary for snowmobile enthusiasts to keep safe while practicing the sport they love. In one important section dealing with helmets, he compares and contrasts the various models available. "There are three main types of helmets available for snowmobiling: full face, modular, and open face," he states, before elaborating further. "Full-face helmets offer the most protection, covering the entire head and face. Modular helmets have a flip-up visor that allows you to easily switch between goggles and a shield. In contrast, open-face helmets provide ventilation and allow you to wear goggles or sunglasses. When choosing a helmet, select one that is appropriately sized and meets all safety standards."
In his preceding blog entry, titled Four Books That Every Motorsport Lover Needs to Read, Kashane Walters delves deeply into four texts he considers required reading on the topic of automobile racing.
