CHICAGO, IL / ACCESSWIRE / December 6, 2022 / Leading LED lighting and controls company Current is officially live on SAP S/4HANA in the public cloud, marking the end of a fast-moving acquisition by GE Current, a Daintree company, of a prominent commercial and industrial (C&I) lighting business. The combination has created a premier end-to-end lighting solutions company.

The carve-out called for more than 1.5 terabytes of data transfer over one weekend, along with the movement of more than 1,000 users to the new system and 43 total integrations. In the end, the project experienced zero critical defects and no data loss.
