With the introduction of a new DEI focused data set, business travelers can have more visibility into supplier options
NEW YORK, NY / ACCESSWIRE / April 4, 2023 / Tripkicks, the business travel technology company focused on influencing traveler behavior, announces today new functionality to help companies promote Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) amongst their business travelers. Adding to its growing list of supplier attributes that guide business travelers towards the best options when booking travel, Tripkicks will now highlight properties held by hotel owners from underrepresented backgrounds. This Tripkicks managed data set includes data a variety of prominent associations, as well as individual portfolios from owners and managers with diverse backgrounds.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is a key component of the Environment, Social, and Governance objectives being prioritized by many leading companies. According to a recent survey by The Beat, 59% of Travel Managers are considering DE&I stances when assessing travel suppliers.
"Business Travelers and their employers want to know that they are supporting businesses that align with the same objectives that they prioritize. Providing more transparency to travelers is the first step in enabling this. There is so much more that can be done to bring enhanced visibility into this area. While this may be a small step, it's a start, and we look forward to deepening our partnerships with clients and travel suppliers to enhance this functionality," said Jeff Berk, Tripkicks CEO.
