Jacobson has deep experience in provider, health plan, and healthcare solutions strategy, and has been leading revenue cycle programs for nearly two decades.
A longtime revenue cycle expert with a proven record in operations improvement, Jacobson has managed revenue cycle at both for-profit and not-for-profit facilities including academic medical centers. He was most recently vice president, revenue management for Novocardia, where he created the revenue cycle organization for a multi-state, on-demand health company, developing workflows, implementing compliance procedures, and building coding and credentialing teams.
Jacobson has also led revenue cycle operations for Greenbrook, a provider of outpatient depression treatment, and Inova Health System, and led strategy and implementation teams for Epic integrations and revenue cycle initiatives as a consultant at Deloitte and Accenture.
A resident of the greater Washington, D.C. area, Jacobson earned his Master of Healthcare Administration at Tulane University, and a BA in economics at Emory University.
