TAMPA, FL / ACCESSWIRE / October 4, 2023 / Crane Tech, one of the oldest and largest providers of crane and rigging training and safety programs, has partnered with Materials Research & Technology (MR&T), based in Lima, Peru, to help create an enhanced safety culture for the region's material handling industry.
Through this partnership, Crane Tech is bringing its Train-the-Trainer program to MR&T. This program offers a turn-key solution that site trainers often need, enabling them to utilize Crane Tech's proprietary curriculum. These sessions include a variety of crane types and other equipment, including overhead cranes, mobile cranes, aerial lifts, forklifts, earth moving equipment, and articulating cranes, as well as Qualified Rigger Levels 1 and 2, hoist inspection, and Qualified Signal Person training.

The initial training sessions will start with Antamina, one of the largest copper and zinc mines in the world, located in the Andes Mountains of Peru.
