PORTLAND, OR / ACCESSWIRE / November 8, 2023 / People management platform Aliat, which specializes in helping small to mid-sized businesses optimize their operations, has appointed an interim CEO to lead the company while it searches for a permanent hire.
Tony Gendvilas, O.D., a longtime optometrist and the former Chief Benefits Officer for Aliat since he joined the company in 2015, brings to the CEO role a wealth of experience in the world of employee engagement and benefits thanks to his more than eight years with Aliat. He has been licensed in health and life insurance for 13 years and was the owner of his own optometry practice from 1990 to 2017.

As interim CEO, Gendvilas will oversee Aliat as it continues supporting small to mid-sized businesses with a range of human resources services. Gendvilas, who has a Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University and a Doctor of Optometry from Pacific University, will serve as interim CEO until the role is filled permanently. A search for a permanent CEO is underway.
