SINGAPORE / ACCESSWIRE / January 29, 2024 / MixMob, a Solana-powered gaming universe based on Remix Culture, has announced that its native governance token $MXM will be listed on multiple crypto exchange platforms on February 1. The launch is the culmination of MixMob's Flip Web 2 campaign that began in mid-November, and coincides with an official trailer and website launch for chapter 6 of the MixMob game economy.

In a world where a malevolent master AI has destroyed human culture, MixMob players are tasked with joining a creative resistance movement in order to "re-chain" humanity's culture. Unlike with many play-to-earn games, MixMob is a player-owned game world that's designed to reward players for their creativity and style as much as their gaming skills.

The token launch comes in the wake of a successful MixBots sale, which saw 9,000 NFTs sold out within just 12 minutes, with total proceeds in excess of $2.25 million. The success is striking, similar to selling out 9,000 pairs of premium Air Jordan's in just 12 minutes. Strong demand for MixMob's MixBots was due in part to the support of high-profile Solana communities including BONK!, Mad Lads and Neo Tokyo.

The MixBots sale was followed by the official launch of what MixMob believes is the first-ever card strategy racing game, called MixMob: Racer 1. The game is based on "race-to-earn" gameplay mechanics that enable crypto enthusiasts, degens and gamers to earn exciting crypto rewards.

Racer 1 vastly expands the utility of the $MXM token, providing an incentive for players and for those who simply want to spectate and earn rewards for referrals and their participation in governance. MixMob uniquely bridges the worlds of eSports and Web3, with the MXM League establishing regular race schedules and tournaments with different tiers. Governance is the duty of $MXM token holders, meaning MixMob players get to decide on the specifics of each tournament and race. The in-game racing venues, called Turbo Arenas, also serve as liquidity pools, encouraging $MXM holders to stake their tokens to engage in governance, form and manage teams, unlock rewards for their contributions, access premium items and earn a percentage of each arena's revenue.

The $MXM token will be listed on Bybit and other leading exchange platforms. To prevent external market forces, including exchanges, from adversely affecting the $MXM token economy, MixMob will also launch a Solana-based soulbound token called $SUDS, which can only be exchanged within MixMob's gaming ecosystem.

MixMob is backed by key names within the crypto ecosystem including Arthur Hayes, Solana, Alex Svanevik of Nansen, DeFiance Capital, Infinity Ventures, , IOSG Ventures and Shima Capital. It has raised more than $10.5 million to date.
