SBINFT Launches SBINFT Mits Marketing Platform To Help Global Brands Expand Into Web3

TOKYO, JAPAN / ACCESSWIRE / January 30, 2024 / SBINFT Co., Ltd., the operator of Japan's biggest and most successful NFT marketplace, announced the global launch of its new NFT marketing platform SBINFT Mits. The new service paves the way for international brands to leverage NFTs at the heart of their marketing strategies while introducing their customers to the unique benefits of digital collectibles for the first time.

SBINFT originally began life as a marketplace for every kind of NFT, with a focus on digital art. However, the company notably pivoted to focus on blockchain game NFTs in June 2023 via a partnership with the Oasys blockchain. The rebranding of the SBINFT Market was finalized in November 2023, and dozens of top-tier global video game developers are expected to list their digital assets on the platform from January 2024 onwards.

SBINFT, formerly SmartApp, launched its blockchain business in 2018 and the NFT marketplace in 2021, later joined the SBI group and rebranded as SBINFT. With an average NFT price of between 10,000-20,000 JPY and funding of 700 million JPY, making it the single largest NFT marketplace in Japan.

SBINFT Mits is a platform service that's designed to connect Web2 and Web3 companies with their NFT projects and build up loyal communities centered around digital collectibles. To that end, the service offers numerous features to enable simplified NFT project management, including event management functionality and analytics tools to chart the success of marketing campaigns. For companies, the main benefit of SBINFT Mits is that it consolidates NFT design and campaign management into a single, easy-to-use platform.

The new service is intended for both individuals such as social media influencers, as well as big businesses in any kind of industry. Users can access tools that streamline the design and creation of functional utility NFTs, while managing their minting and distribution alongside marketing strategy.

SBINFT Mits was first announced at the 2023 WebX Summit in Japan, and helps companies to "Be the FIRST. Be the STANDARD" within the nascent Web3 movement, leveraging the SBINFT Market as the primary shop window for their NFTs. Later this year, the platform will add to its initial capabilities, launching tools for companies to quickly and easily mint NFT collections and link physical merchandise to those digital collectibles before shipping it to NFT holders.

The company is also planning to create a points system to incentivize users to participate in brands' marketing initiatives, empowering them to create loyal communities of followers, centered on digital collectibles.

The initial response to SBINFT Mits has been positive, with more than 37 Japanese brands signing up for its open beta, which launched in October. Among those early adopters are large enterprises such as Yucho Brewery, a 300-hundred-year sake brewery, Securitize, and travel and tourism operator H.I.S.
