Celebrating 26 Years of Empowerment, the Black Chamber of Arizona Honors Four Distinguished Organizations and Black-Owned Employer Firms for Their Contributions to Inclusive Business Growth.

PHOENIX, AZ / ACCESSWIRE / September 30, 2024 / The Black Chamber of Arizona (BCAZ) is excited to announce the return of its annual gala on Friday, December 13, 2024, at the SRP Pera Club. The Pinnacle Pathways Awards Gala event will honor four distinguished organizations-JP Morgan Chase, Arizona State University, Cox Communications, and the Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC)-for their exceptional commitment to fostering diversity, inclusion, and economic empowerment within Arizona's business community.

The gala will be a night of celebration, networking, and recognition of these influential partners whose contributions have played a pivotal role in advancing the Chamber's mission to support Black-owned businesses and underserved entrepreneurs across the state. Attendees can expect an evening of inspiring stories, outstanding entertainment, and a showcase of the Chamber's impact throughout the year.

Dr. Velma Trayham, BCAZ President and CEO, expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming event. "We are thrilled to these outstanding organizations and corporations for their dedication to creating inclusive business opportunities. These entities have not only invested in the success of Arizona's Black-owned businesses but have also shown leadership in fostering a more equitable and prosperous business environment for all. About the 2024 Honorees

JP Morgan Chase will be honored for its support of small businesses through its economic equity initiatives, including its recent pledge of $25,000 toward the Black Chamber of Arizona's capital campaign to enhance and support business development for Black entrepreneurs.

Cox Communications will be recognized for its leadership in promoting digital inclusion and ensuring that minority-owned businesses access critical, cutting-edge technology and broadband services. These services help to digitally power businesses throughout the state.

Arizona State University will be acknowledged for collaborating with BCAZ on educational programs and entrepreneurship initiatives that empower current and future Black business leaders and innovators.

Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC) will be celebrated for its dedication to driving regional economic development and its focus on fostering inclusivity in business growth, particularly through efforts to support Black entrepreneurs and create opportunities for minority-owned businesses within Greater Phoenix's thriving economy.

This gala is an opportunity to reflect on the Black Chamber of Arizona's successes in 2024, from launching impactful new programs to expanding its reach within Arizona's business landscape. The event will also serve as a fundraising opportunity to continue the Chamber's vital work in advocating for the growth and development of Black-owned businesses and entrepreneurs.
