Education and Experience
Dr. Ogbolu's journey into the medical field began with his pursuit of a bachelor's degree in microbiology from Nigeria in 1984. With this scientific interest established, Dr. Ogbolu immigrated to the United States in 1986, where he earned a Master of Public Health from Emory University in 1993 and a Doctor of Medicine from the Morehouse School of Medicine in 1999. Based on this education and his later experience, Dr. Ogbolu became a member of the Association of Nigerian Physicians in the Americas and a fellow of the American College of Physicians.
Following his education, Dr. Ogbolu completed an internal medicine residency at Yale New Haven Health's Greenwich Hospital for three years. This initial experience led him to practice office-based medicine at St. Luke's Hospital in Pocono, Pennsylvania. Beyond hospital work, Dr. Ogbolu has served as a consultant in drug rehabilitation and played significant roles with TeamHealth and the Lehigh Valley Health Network.
Throughout his time in the medical field, Dr. Ogbolu has observed a shift toward evidence-based practices, especially concerning the use of medication. He followed this changing focus, which led to the modern approach of prolonging life through more targeted and effective interventions. The positions in which Dr. Ogbolu has served have afforded him a greater understanding of the field of internal medicine and enabled him to contribute to these medical initiatives, an experience that eventually brought him to EAC Medical Services.
An Immigrant's Perspective
Dr. Ogbolu attributes much of his success to his immigrant background, a perspective that provided him with an understanding of the privileges available in America as opposed to Nigeria. In recognition of this privilege, Dr. Ogbolu has been inspired to give back and assist those in need in Nigeria. In this way, he practices the advice he offers to new medical professionals. Beyond pursuing their passions, Dr. Ogbolu always encourages new professionals to never let money be their guiding principle.

In his civic dedication, Dr. Ogbolu has been especially recognized for his contributions toward benefiting children in Nigeria. He has received plaques from Nigerian children in recognition of his efforts, awards, which he prizes above all others.
Shifting Focus
Looking toward the future, Dr. Ogbolu plans to retire from medical practice and engage in a new hobby. However, he will remain the owner of EAC Medical Services, fully shifting his attention to the company. He also intends to engage more with charitable work in Nigeria, with a particular focus on initiatives to benefit children.
