ROSEMONT, IL / ACCESSWIRE / October 21, 2024 / The ASSEMBLY Show, one of the most anticipated events in the manufacturing industry, returns this week to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. From Tuesday, October 22 to Thursday, October 24, 2024, attendees will have the unique opportunity to explore the latest advancements in assembly technology, network with industry leaders, and participate in hands-on demonstrations that showcase cutting-edge solutions for manufacturing challenges. This year's event promises an exciting lineup of innovations and educational sessions tailored to professionals in automotive, aerospace, appliances, and other sectors that rely on assembly technologies.

Here's what attendees can expect:

  1. Pre-Conference Workshops - The event will kick off on Tuesday, October 22, with a full day of conference sessions from 9 am - 4 pm. Subject matter experts will lead sessions in three tracks including Advancements in Automation and Automated Assembly; Data Analysis, Artificial Intelligence, and C-Suite Topics; and Bolted Joint and Threaded Fastener Assembly.   2. Over 250 Exhibitors Showcasing Cutting-Edge Technologies - Attendees will have access to an expansive exhibit hall featuring more than 250 exhibitors from both The ASSEMBLY Show and SMTA International. Leading companies in robotics, automation, adhesives, and other assembly-related technologies will display the latest tools and services designed to streamline production processes and improve efficiency. A dozen exhibitors will also feature subject matter experts in the Learning Theater on the show floor.

  3. Keynote Speaker Jairek Robbins will discuss Crafting the Future: Leadership and Legacy in the Manufacturing Industry, on Wednesday, October 23, at 9 am. Jairek was featured on The ASSEMBLY Magazine Podcast where he spoke about Leading Up: Shaping the Future of Manufacturing ahead of his presentation, and provided an inspiring discussion on the power of proactive leadership in shaping the future of manufacturing. Leadership isn't just a title-it's about active participation, strategic vision, and fostering growth. Right before the keynote, the editors of ASSEMBLY Magazine will present the Plant of the Year Award to GE Appliances has mass-produced dishwashers at a sprawling factory in Louisville, KY. Today, the 1-million-square-foot facility produces more than 70 dishwasher models.

  4. Hands-On Demonstrations - The Assembly Show is known for its interactive exhibits, and this year is no exception. Attendees will have the chance to engage in live demonstrations of new equipment and software, providing a firsthand look at the latest industry solutions. From automated assembly lines to advanced inspection systems, participants can see these innovations in action. The event will feature a New Product Contest and Awards and Guided Exhibit Hall Tours.

  5. Networking Opportunities - There will be several Networking events including the Taste of Rosemont Welcome Reception on Tuesday from 4-7pm on the show floor which will feature a demonstration from several First Robotics high school teams; and the Pub Night Networking Reception on Wednesday from 5-7pm featuring a live band, food and games. Thursday, October 24 is Pink Out Day and during the Morning Mingle and Breakfast a check will be presented to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Donations are still being accepted and The ASSEMBLY Show will match it up to $5000.

  6. SMTA International (SMTAI) - All attendees will also have access SMTA International, one of the premier events for professionals in the electronics manufacturing and assembly industry.
