NEW YORK, NY / ACCESSWIRE / November 20, 2024 / Vista Point Mortgage, LLC ("Vista Point") recently disclosed that it suffered a data breach that compromised the sensitive personal data of thousands of individuals. This data breach has led to concerns over the security of sensitive personal information entrusted to Vista Point.

WHAT'S THIS ABOUT?

Earlier this year, Vista Point became aware of a security incident on its IT Network. As a result, Vista Point launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident. Vista Point's investigation discovered that the following types of sensitive personal information may have been exposed in the data breach: full name, and social security number. On November 18, 2024, Vista Point issued a public disclosure about the data breach and started sending notice letters to impacted individuals. Compensation may be available for those individuals who received notice that their personal information was compromised.
