Manufacturing Update: Satya Concludes Successful Harvest Season
ASHLAND, OR / ACCESSWIRE / November 20, 2024 / Satya Therapeutics (the Company) has completed its final harvest of the year, featuring the company's flagship genetic strain, "Halo." COO Andreas Met reported, "Halo has been the preferred choice for nearly 90% of our 700+ clients to date. This low-cost, high-yield strain consistently delivers the effects clients seek. We typically blend Halo with other psilocybin mushrooms to create our signature tea formulation."
The company has successfully built up an inventory of 40,000mg of psilocybin analyte, ensuring a stable supply to meet the demand from Oregon psilocybin service centers. Met noted, "We currently supply products to five service centers, who benefit from the most competitive pricing in the state. Approximately 10% of all service center clients in Oregon consume Satya products." Met expressed surprise at the limited adoption of Satya's products, given their cost-effectiveness: "With many service centers facing financial challenges, we anticipated greater interest in our industry-leading wholesale prices. Lower product costs can significantly improve profitability and potentially attract more clients through competitive pricing. We're committed to raising awareness about these benefits to support the growth of Oregon's psilocybin services industry."
Service Center Slashes Psilocybin Prices, Setting New Industry Standard
The Company has announced a significant price reduction for its psilocybin products. Effective November, the company lowered the price to $100 (including 15% state tax), with plans to further reduce it to $50 on December 1.
Jennifer Met, CEO and co-founder of Satya Therapeutics, emphasized the company's commitment to accessibility: "From day one, our mission has been to make psilocybin therapy affordable for people from all walks of life. This price reduction is a major step towards that goal." Jennifer, continued, "We've received positive feedback on our initial price reduction to $100 and we're considering reducing prices to $50 in January." This bold pricing strategy aligns with Satya Therapeutics' vision of making psilocybin-assisted therapy more accessible, potentially setting a new benchmark in the emerging psychedelic therapy market.
Significant Reduction in Wholesale Psilocybin Pricing for Service Center Partners
The Company has announced a substantial reduction in its wholesale pricing for psilocybin sold to service center partners. The company has lowered the cost of 25mg of psilocybin to $20, equivalent to $0.80 per milligram, making it the most competitive offering in the state.
This price reduction aligns with Satya's ongoing efforts to make psilocybin therapy more accessible at its own service center.
Andreas Met has expressed surprise at the limited adoption of reduced wholesale pricing by other manufacturers, "More client traffic can lead to increased demand for products. There are too many licensed psilocybin manufacturers in Oregon; it is hard to see how more than a few can stay in business given the current market environment."
The company believes that increased awareness of its industry-leading wholesale prices could significantly benefit the Oregon psilocybin market, potentially making services more affordable and accessible to a broader range of clients.
Satya Completes Practicum with The Leela School of Awakening
The company completed eight-client sessions with the Leela School of Awakening (https://www.leelaschool.org/psilocybin-facilitator-program) in October. This was the first time the Leela School used the Satya facilities for their practicum. Leigh Estok, Program Director of the Leela School--and also a facilitator seeing her own clients at Satya-- commented, "We are so happy to have used Satya as a practicum location. Satya Therapeutics made us feel safe and supported, in a beautiful, clean and clear space. All the students who journeyed there were very happy with their experience. We thank Satya for accommodating us and hope to use them again in the future."
The company claims to have hosted more psilocybin facilitator training practicums than any other service center in Oregon. Several prominent programs, including Myco-Method and The Entheogen Institute, have selected Satya as their practicum site. This suggests Satya has established itself as a leading provider of hands-on training experiences for aspiring psilocybin facilitators in the state.
Shasta Winn, program director at Myco-Method (https://myco-method.com)-and also a facilitator seeing clients at Satya commented, "At Satya, I trust that students will gain exceptional hands-on practicum training through sessions with real clients rather than just other students. Satya truly lives up to its name, guided by integrity, honesty, and an unwavering commitment to client care. You can feel this dedication in every interaction and in the welcoming energy of the service center-it's clear they have a genuine heart for this work."
Coeli Dwivedi, program director at The Entheogen Institute (www.entheotraining.com)-and also a facilitator in Southern Oregon-commented "I love facilitating practicums at Satya. We've had the opportunity to engage in both group and individual practicum experiences, and it has been truly invaluable. Service Center staff personally connect with our students, sharing stories, teaching moments, and constructive feedback that supports growth. They share their passion and dedication to their work, which is deeply inspiring. The culture at Satya is open, welcoming, and supportive, giving our students a place they can always return to and feel at home as they embark on their professional journeys."
Jennifer Met proudly highlighted that leading psilocybin training programs are selecting Satya Therapeutics for their practicum. The company believes its practicum costs are the most competitive in Oregon, offering the most authentic training environment for future psilocybin facilitators. By conducting training with real clients under the Oregon Health Authority's regulations, Satya provides a uniquely comprehensive and practical learning experience for students.
