Providing Scholarships to Those in Need of Assistance
TAMARAC, FLORIDA / ACCESSWIRE / November 26, 2024 / The David Posnack Jewish Community Center and Temple Bat Yam partnered to host the inaugural Baer Cup Golf Classic, presented by Baer's Furniture at the Woodmont Country Club in Tamarac, Florida.
Golfers, corporate partners, community leaders, volunteers and philanthropists participated in the 4th annual Baer Cup Golf Classic. This tournament raised thousands of urgently needed scholarship dollars. Thus, providing opportunities for families who need financial assistance to enjoy the many programs and services offered by the David Posnack JCC at the Baer Family Early Childhood Learning Center at Temple Bat Yam in Fort Lauderdale, the Susan & Saul Singer Early Childhood Learning Center at our Davie campus and our Giborim United programs for children and adults with developmental disabilities.
"The dollars raised at the Baer Cup Golf Classic will provide scholarships for families in need to participate in our J's A.P.P.L.E.-accredited preschools and Giborim United programs for people with developmental disabilities," said Scott Ehrlich, CEO at the David Posnack JCC.
